For 16 years, Zona de Obras has been a publication of reference within the music, culture and avant-gardes of Spain and Ibero-America. From books to graphic design and events, Zona de Obras offers Latin culture beyond the clichés and “mainstream” topics. They help spread the work of many Latin artists in the world: through the magazine and with the –daily– “Apuesta del Día” (newsletter online). And also develop events that are a platform for dissemination to the Latin creation. Zona de Obras also develops activities such as the “Viva la Canción” Festival (dedicated to the most current and innovative Latin American song), which will celebrate it’s third edition in 2012, or “Mirá que Lindas”, an exhibition about the graphic design of Latin American album covers that toured many cities in Spain and America.
